This stainless steel pond pump cage has very fine 1/8" mesh.  Measures 13" tall x 9" wide.  Has a precut exit hole in the heavy duty, black polyethylene lid for 1.25" ID tubing (can also use smaller pond tubing). 
To open cage:  loosen & remove both wing nuts on either side of lid.  Gently push mesh screen to remove lid from one bolt then the other.  Carefully place pond pump inside & reattach lid.
This pump cage can be placed either vertically or horizontally in the pond.
