If you have the Classic Series Skimmers and Check Valves, use the AquaSurge Conversion Kit with catalog number 29705 to connect the 1.5 inches Female Threaded Outlet to the 1 1/2 inches Male Thread by 2 inches Slip adapter. You need to cut off the 2 inches Black Flexible PVC pipe located between the check Valve and the pump. Then the 1.5 male Threaded Part should be screwed into the pump. Lastly, the existing 2 inches flexible pvc should be glued into the other end of the adapter. If you have the Signature Series Skimmers and Check Valves, use the AquaSurge Conversion Kit to connect the 1.5 inches Female Threaded Outlet to the 2 inches Aquascape Check Valve Adapter.
