Ready Roots is an aquatic potting mix developed for all water plants in ponds.
This media acts like thousands of tiny “sponges” to retain moisture, yet it won’t compact like other soils. It allows plants to absorb moisture and nutrients while promoting strong root development.

Light-weight and absorbent, it’s also perfect for container plants or for starting seeds. It works well to enhance garden soil, improving sandy soils and lightening clay soils.

A clean and high-grade media, it won’t dirty pond water. It’s also 100% fish safe.
 20 dry quart (5 gallon) bag.

Instructions for Use:
-Put 1-2 " of fine gravel or fabric in bottom of planting container
-Add Ready Roots & spread out roots of plant, continue adding the mix
-Add fertilizer tablets
-Top Ready Roots with about 2 inches of fine gravel
-Finally, water plant thoroughly out of pond then slowly lower plant into pond.

This aquatic planting mix may also be used in hydroponic and terrestrial applications!

Note: Ready Roots consists of a special reticulated foam and composted rice hulls.
